About Daywhere
It was born from an uncomfortable question: could you prove where you lived last year?
Living between countries is no longer the exception. But tax rules still work the same way: residency is decided by days of presence and defended with proof — and neither memory nor spreadsheets survive an audit that arrives two years late. That gap between how we live and how it's proven is the one Daywhere exists to close.
Daywhere counts your days in each country automatically, with background GPS; stores dated proof of where you were; warns you before you cross a threshold, not after; and turns the whole year into a report ready to hand over. You live; the record keeps itself.
Principles
Three decisions we don't negotiate.
Your data is yours
Precise coordinates are processed on your device and discarded; what's stored travels encrypted. Every permission is an explicit, revocable consent, and we don't sell data or live off advertising.
Legal honesty
Geolocation is not conclusive proof before tax authorities, and we say so on every screen where it matters. Daywhere is a record-keeping and support tool, not tax advice — for decisions with tax effects, see a professional.
No noise
A product you forget about: it counts in the background, uses ~1% of battery and only speaks up when there's something to decide. The important alerts arrive before you cross the line, which is when they're useful.
Try it on your own year.
