The site runs on a few necessary cookies. Analytics only uses a cookie if you accept; otherwise (or if you never answer the banner), we measure usage anonymously and without cookies: we write nothing to your device. We never sell your data.
1. What cookies are

3. If you don't accept: anonymous, cookie-free measurement
If you choose “Essential only” — or simply never answer the banner — analytics (PostHog, with servers in the EU) runs in memory mode: it writes nothing to your device, cannot recognise you across visits, and every visit counts as a new visitor. It only tells us which pages are read, for how long and from which country, in aggregate. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in usage statistics that cannot identify you.
4. If you accept all
We add a single analytics cookie (from PostHog, its name starts with “ph_”) that recognises your repeat visits and expires after 12 months. It lets us measure, for example, how many people come back. We use no advertising or third-party marketing cookies; if we ever added any, we would ask for your consent first.
